The Roaming Readers meet twice a month at Hoover Forest Preserve. Unlike a traditional book club, the Roaming Readers do not read a certain book each month – instead, they get out in nature, wander in the woods, enjoy some fresh air, and chat about whatever they’ve been reading lately. The Roamers love to share their favorite authors and books that have gotten them excited recently. If you’d like to join them, meet the Roaming Readers at Hoover Forest Preserve (11285 W Fox Road in Yorkville) in the gravel parking lot closest to Fox Road (don’t go past the train tracks) at 9am on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.
